What is a CRC Error?A Cyclic Redundancy Check (CRC) is an error-checking mechanism, that checks whether the information in a file is correct. The installer checks the original CRC
stamped into the file and compares this to the CRC calculated from the copy. If you get a CRC error, then the file you are using has an error and you should either re-download it or obtain a new copy.
